RapidIdentity Enterprise Single Sign-On (eSSO) streamlines access to virtualized resources in Citrix XenApp and XenApp through direct integration with Citrix’s Fast Connect API.
Users accessing Citrix resources after logging on to Windows will experience seamless authenticated access to Citrix through Citrix Receiver or Citrix’s Web Interface.
Users in kiosk and shared workstation environments, such as computers on wheels will experience a secure and streamlined workflow with the RapidIdentity MFA Shared Workstation. In environments where logging on to Windows with a personally assigned username and passwords is not possible or practical, many organizations use generic accounts that are always logged on. This process causes concern for security personnel because in the majority of cases, while secure, the systems are on the organization’s network and unauthorized access is hard if not impossible to monitor.
RapidIdentity MFA Shared Workstation addresses this concern by placing a secured shell around the generically logged on account. Users requesting access to the generic desktop must first logon to RapidIdentity eSSO using an approved authentication method, such as tapping a card or swiping a finger. Once authenticated RapidIdentity eSSO logs when and how the user access the desktop. When used in conjunction with RapidIdentity MFA InstantConnect, RapidIdentity eSSO will auto-launch and authenticate the user to XenApp or XenDesktop. Among other features, upon presentation of the Citrix resource, RapidIdentity eSSO can perform SSO functions, secure access upon time-out, lock the session upon presentation of a device, disconnect the session for roaming functionality, or simply logoff.
RapidIdentity MFA Server can be deployed within Citrix.
