Identity Automation offers maintenance plans to customers as a component of annual maintenance and support for perpetual licenses purchased prior to January 1, 2016. Starting January 1, 2016, maintenance and support is included with RapidIdentity MFA subscription licenses for on-premises and RapidIdentity MFA Cloud. Single and multi-year plans are available for purchase, which discounts applied for pre-payment of multi-year plans. Subscribers are eligible to receive patches, updates, and upgrades to RapidIdentity MFA.
Identity Automation releases patches on an as needed basis. On average, updates, also known as minor releases (i.e., 4.5.2 to 4.5.3), are released once per year and upgrades, also known as a major releases (i.e., 4.5.2 to 5.0.0), are released every two years.
