Section 508 Compliance Statement
This document applies to 2FA ONE. 2FA, Inc. strives to create products that are accessible to every person, including people with disabilities. Our solutions allow us to support the US government in making accessible information technology decisions.
What is Section 508?
On August 7, 1998, President Clinton signed into US law the Rehabilitation Act Amendments of 1998 that cover access to federally funded programs and services. The law strengthens Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and requires access to electronic and information technology provided by the US federal government. Section 508 requires that when federal agencies develop, procure, maintain, or use electronic and information technology, federal employees and members of the public with disabilities must have access to and use of information and data that is comparable to the access and use by federal employees who are not individuals with disabilities, unless an undue burden would be imposed on the agency.
The 2FA, Inc. Commitment to Accessibility
2FA, Inc. partnered with external testing and accessibility specialists during the development of 2FA ONE to perform a complete and independent evaluation for Section 508 compliance. This evaluation focused on testing each component of information technology against federal standards of Section 508 compliance. The areas covered include software applications, Web pages, and documentation and support. From the end user interface to management console screens and help systems, our information technology was evaluated for Section 508 compliance. Creating accessible products is important to 2FA, Inc. We understand the diverse employment needs of our global community. Accessibility and usability are good practices for all end users. Our evaluation efforts will be ongoing as new updates to 2FA ONE.
